Should I check 'filled solid' from Geogebra to download 'stl' file?

When we want to print objects constructed from Geogebra,
we need to download it to a 'stl' file.

in this process,

we face with a crossroads of choice.

Should we choose 'filled solid' option or not?

If we tick the option, we can see the thickness option disapears.
we can insert a number we aimed in the size or scale cells.

and the stl file shows nice clean neat shape of the objects.

if we download the Geogebra object without the filled solid option checked, we need to put the number for the thinkness.

thinkness 5mm
thinkness 0.5

so, for sure, the 'filled solid' option checked object has the better outcome.
at least on the screen.

filled solid option bring the information of the closed space covered by line, dot, and faces.
so, if there is a hole or, if it has a twisted face, then it fails to bring clean and well organized Gcode.

When we print them with that condition,
 there is a risk,
this file not always works with 3D printing. mostly we fail.
some slicer for printing auto detect the debug and solve the problem to make the object printed.
However, generally, for someone using normal costom product, We have more chance to face to error and failure.

for example,
When we create Gcode for 3D printing, some error occured. and usually, it is hard to fine where the error occured.

object with unstable code will show you the wrong object. the following image in the left shows how the object suppose to look like in the right changed with wrong generated 'stl' file.

if we don't select the 'filled solid' option, it goes this way.

So, for normal user like us,
more safe way to make our object to be printed is not to choose the option.
manually insert the thickness number...

but if you really want to have filled solid object, construct the object clean and simple way or try different constructing method. or start over the construction.
